PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the printing speed from lowering and also the ink from being wasted due to ink purge. SOLUTION: A predetermined printing time is determined and the number of particle print instructions, being received by each of a plurality of ink injectors, is counted for that predetermined printing time. When the target number N of particle print instructions being received by each of a plurality of ink injectors is one image data preselected among a plurality of performance modes and a color ink recorder is employed, it is set based on the characteristics of each color ink. When all injectors receive an appropriate target number of particle print instructions, a purge ink procedure is not executed and the printing is not interrupted. |
