PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter including a mechanism for smoothing between a catheter cannula and an extension tube of the catheter. SOLUTION: A catheter assembly 10 has a hub or an extension tube 30 connected to a catheter cannula 20. A connecting part between the extension tube and the catheter cannula is provided with a stress distributing finger-like part 35 extended from the terminal of the extension tube 30 along the outer periphery of the catheter cannula in the direction of the terminal. The stress distributing finger-like part distributes stress applied to the connecting part between the extension tube and the catheter cannula in order to avoid local stress and improve the tensile strength. |
