PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an effective threshold valve even in the degradation of a vehicle by calculatively comparing a present regression formula previously calculated with a new regression formula related to master cylinder pressure and a brake pedalling amount calculated newly to correct the threshold value of brake pedal pedalling speed from the result of the calculation. SOLUTION: When a braking liquid pressure controller 1 closes an ignition switch, an electronic controller 29 carries out the initial check of early setting. The electronic controller 29 takes in the input data of a brake pedal pedalling amount sensor 36, and calls up the threshold value of preset brake pedal pedalling speed to be compared with the brake pedal pedalling speed. If the brake pedal pedalling speed exceeds the threshold value of the brake pedal pedalling speed, the operation of the brake pedal 17 is judged to the quick brake operation, and if it does not exceed the threshold value, the operation of the bra pedal is judged to be the normal brake operation. Thus, a value liable to correspond to the threshold value of the brake pedal pedalling speed can be set even after the degradation of a vehicle. |
