<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed by which a patient who intends to leave from the bed can be easily raised up. SOLUTION: A floor plate 8 of a bed is divided into a back floor plate 9, a waist-part floor plate 10 and a foot-part floor plate 11, and a floor plate raising mechanism M which changes inclination angles of the floor plates 9, 10 and 11 is provided. The form of the bed is changed into that of a chair to raise up the upper half of a patient lying on the bed. At that time, since the waist-part plate 10 inclines forwardly, the center of gravity of the patient is placed in a higher position to enable him to standing up on the bed. In addition, since the patient is supported on a tread plate 13 stably even when the bed is transformed into a chair-like shape, a falling accident can be prevented.</p> |
