PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of shift mode by compatibly securing the matching the times required for shift to the target value, and suppressing the speed change shock. SOLUTION: During shifting of automatic transmission 2, the acting force of the friction element used for shift is responded to the output torque of engine 1 so that the shift shock can be prevented. During shift, the engine 1 is controlled as described below so that its output is controlled particularly. A controller 3 calculates the required time for shift further, calculate the deviation time 6 from a target times of a store part 5, and further, the correction value of engine output torque moderation coefficient is calculated 7 to void the deviation, the engine output torque adjusting coefficient is corrected by the correction value and stored in a storing part 9. During shifting, the engine 1 is controlled so that its torque can be the torque multiplied by the moderation coefficient, thereby, the time for shifting is adjusted to be the target time of the automatic transmission 2. |
