CONSTRUCTION FACING MEMBER AND METHOD FOR ITS FORMING

FIELD: construction materials industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in production of decorative construction articles such as facing plates made of gypsum binding materials. Base of facing construction member is made of mixture of colored particles of aggregate preliminarily produced on basis of gypsum-containing binding material. These particles are of large, medium and fine fractions and their sizes are less than thickness of base correspondingly by 2.0-4.5; 5.0-19.5; and 20.9-150 times at ratio of fraction being 0.08-10.0:0.04-8.0. Particles of aggregate are produced by grinding hardened gypsum slurry, separation of thus produced particles into fractions and formation of mixture of particles which is placed in forms, subjected to mechanical treatment. for example to rolling and impregnated with plastic gypsum slurry at pressure differential of 0.1-0.5 atm. After hardening of aforesaid slurry, base is coated with layer of transparent adhesive material with thickness of 0.01-0.05 of thickness of base. Gypsum slurry with which aggregate is impregnated as to its color and brightness can not coincide with aggregate. Particles of one of fractions of aggregate can be colored in different colors of different brightness as compared with particles of other fraction or other part of same fraction.
