PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of an automobile air conditioner employing a non-azeotropic refrigerant obtained by mixing inflammable propane R290 and isobutane R600a together at predetermined ratios. SOLUTION: An automobile air conditioner comprise an engine-room side cooling cycle 8 constituted of a compressor 3, an outdoor heat exchanger 4, an expansion valve 5 and a brine heat exchanger 6 connected by means of piping, and an interior-side cooling cycle 20 constituted of the brine heat exchanger 6, a brine pump 17 and an indoor heat exchanger 18 connected by means of piping. The engine-room side cooling cycle 8 is charged with a nonazeotropic refrigerant obtained by mixing propane R290 and isobutane R600a together, while the interior-side cooling cycle 20 is charged with brine. The brine heat exchanger is provided with a detector means 13 for detecting leakage of the refrigerant. |
