PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piece of trousers excellent in both the protection and thermal insulation of the body portion around the waist, therefore suitable for athletic use such as ski, snowboard and others, and also applicable to working and general uses. SOLUTION: The objective trousers are so designed that a waist band part 4 is fitted with a body-winding cloth 7 at least part of which bears a stretchable portion with the front side lying open, the front side open ends of the body- winding cloth 7 represent wing pieces 8, 9 extended in such a fashion as to stand apart from the waist band part 4 and superposable on each other and also fitted with hooking means 11 corresponding to each other. These hooking means 11 preferably ensure their hooking positions to be optionally changeable, and a reinforcing band 12 made of a stretchable material is attached over the range from both sides to the back of the body-winding cloth 7 in such as state that both the above-mentioned sides (and the center of the back) are fixed. |
