PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent beddings or hand from being caught when opening the side fences of a bed or the like by moving down side fences by constituting the side fences so that the side faces of the bed, etc., can be covered and vertical movement can be performed. SOLUTION: This fence has a lower lateral crossbar 22 mounted on the side frame of a bed 20, guide struts 23 integrally erected on both the terminal sides of the lower lateral crossbar 22, and a slatted shutter 24, which can be freely moved up and down along the guide struts 23 and can be rolled up into the lower lateral crossbar 22, between these guide struts 23. Stoppers 27 are provided near both the terminal parts of an upper lateral crossbar 25 on the upper end side of this slatted shutter 24 and on the upper end side of the guide struts 23, the upper lateral crossbar 25 is attachably and detachably locked and supported. |
