PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyethylene composition, excellent in transparency and mechanical characteristics and useful for a film, etc., by blending a specific ethylene-α-olefin copolymer with a specified high-pressure and low-density polyethylene and a specific linear low-density polyethylene in a specified proportion. SOLUTION: This polyethylene composition comprises (A) 1-98wt.% ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having 0.880-0.960g/cm<3> density (d), 0.01-200g/10min melt flow rate at 190 deg.C under 2.16kg load (MFR2.16 ), 10-20 ratio of melt flow rate at 190 deg.C under 21.6kg load (MFR21.6 )/(MFR2.16 ) and 2.0-4.0 molecular weight distribution, (B) 1-50wt.% high-pressure and low-density polyethylene having 0.915-0.935g/cm<3> and 0.01-100g/10 min MFR2.16 and (C) 1-98wt.% linear low- density polyethylene, having 0.910-0.960g/cm<3> (d) and 0.01-200g/10min MFR2.16 and prepared in the presence of a Ziegler-based catalyst. Furthermore, the component A preferably has characteristics that the standard deviationσof the elution amount for the elution temperature obtained according to the temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) isσ<=17. |
