PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To destaticize a foreign matter such as resin waste which is electrostatically charged to enable the easy separation of foreign matter from the filling of a rotary brush and thereby positively remove the foreign matter from the parting face of a molding die by injecting a gas containing the ion to destaticize the foreign matter, to the filling part of the rotary brush located in a vacuum suction passage. SOLUTION: The head 25 of this mold die cleaning device finds its way into a gap between the parting face 5 of the bottom force 3 of a molding die 2 and the parting face 6 of the top force 4 of the molding die 2 to clean the parting faces 5, 6. A rotary brush 44 is eccentrically fitted to the rotating shafts 42, 43 of the lateral plate 41 for the head 25. Foreign matter 29 sticking to the filling 45 of the rotary brush 44 whips off the filling 45 of the rotary brush 44 by running into a beater 60. In addition, a gas containing the ion is blown to the filling 45 located in a vacuum suction passage by an ion implantation nozzle 64 on the molding die cleaning device. Consequently, the foreign matter 29 which sticks to the rotary brush 44 as the former is electrostatically charged is efficiently removed by destaticization, collision with the beater 60 and vacuum suction. |
