PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the danger caused when a hand is put in from a feeding port, to continuously feed and cut empty cans or the like and to automatically discharge bottles or the like with respect to a shredder for various kinds of containers such as empty cans. SOLUTION: A feeding cylinder 4 is arranged below a feeding port 1 so that it may be normally held vertically. A shutter 2 is freely openably and closably fitted to the feeding port 1. A mechanism which is associated with the closing of the upper shutter to move the feeding cylinder 4 while inclined so that it may be positioned to above cutters 8 is provided. A receiving member 6 for various kinds of containers such as empty cans is fitted to below the feeding port 1. A sensor is for detecting things that cannot be cut such as bottles in the feeding port 4 is arranged, and the lower receiving member 6 is rotate associated with a signal of the sensor to discharge the things such as bottles that cannot be cut. |
