FIELD: compression of gases at compressor stations for gas lines. SUBSTANCE: gas fed to pipe line at initial pressure is compressed to higher pressure, after which it is cooled and fed to pipe line at lower outlet temperature not higher than 0 C and higher outlet pressure as compared with inlet pressure. Compressor station used for realization of this method includes at least one compressor for compression of gas, at least one heat exchanger for cooling the compressed gas, pipe lines with controllable valves and adjusting devices.
