The present invention provides a novel polymorphic form of Colour Index Pigment Yellow 12 in a crystalline form which exhibits an X-ray diffraction pattern having three prominent X-ray diffraction lines corresponding to "d" spacings of 11.82, 7.71 and 3.32x10-10 meters.
