PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the precise carrying of a sheet material and prevent the deterioration of an image such as wrinkle, image flow or the like to transfer materials having every possible characteristic of thickness, size, material, image, density and the like by providing a control means for controlling the sucking force of a carrying means. SOLUTION: A sheet material carrying device 90 is formed of a suction fan 91 and a carrying motor which are carrying means, a carrying belt 92, and a guide 94. The carrying belt 92 is formed of a rubber-like belt laid over the carrying guide 94, and it has a number of suction ports. A transfer material is carried on the carrying belt 92, and at this time, it is sucked to the belt 92 by a suction duct provided on the guide 94 and a suction fan 91 provided under the carrying belt. This sucking force provide a stable carrying force to the transfer material. The suction fan 91 is controlled in the sucking force of the transfer material by a suction fan control device as control means. Thus, the precise carrying of a sheet material can be ensured. |
