PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of improving a quality of skin by enhancing softness of a horny layer by containing a fatty acid amide, an azole and a compound selected from retinol and a retinyl ester. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (a) 0.001-10wt.% compound selected from retinol and a retinyl ester, (b) 0.0001-50wt.% azole, (c) 0.0001-50wt.% fatty acid amide and (d) a vehicle permissible to a makeup. These components show synergistic effects by using the components in combination, synergistically improve breeding of keratin-generating cells and synergistically suppress differentiation of the keratin-generating cells. The composition is capable of preventing and treating a dry skin, a sunburned skin, wrinkles, a senile plaque, a senile skin, a rough skin, a flaked skin, etc. The composition has an action like retinoic acid. |
