SEE-THROUGH PROOFING FIBER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a see-through proofing fiber excellent in see-through preventing property, water absorbing property and heat insulating property suitable for textile and having good yarn processing process through property by using a simple spinning machine facility and a spinneret structure. SOLUTION: This see-through proofing fiber comprises a fiber composed of a thermoplastic polymer and having >=1 denier and <=10 denier single yarn fineness and the single fiber comprises an ultrafine fiber layer and a coating layer. A fiber surface of a composite fiber capable of attenuating and comprising at least two components of an alkali-soluble polymer and an alkali-resistant polymer A is coated with the alkali-resistant polymer A and treated with an alkali solution and the alkali-soluble polymer is dissolved or decomposed and removed and the interior of fiber is made ultrafine to provide the objective see-through proofing fiber composed of an ultrafine fiber layer and a coating layer.
