PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monolithic molding with a skin which is free from deformation or warp and also damage in the skin material and further, has superior performance as an outer appearance by first, placing the skin material between a pair of opposite right/left or top/bottom forces of a mold, then clamping the forces, and packing a molten resin as a core material by injection into a mold cavity, and further, controlling the resin pressure to stay within a set pressure range. SOLUTION: A skin material S is set at a specified position on the parting face of a mold and a gap between the forces of a mold which are arranged opposite to each other is set to a mold opening of about 1mm after holding the peripheral edge part of the skin material S, and the forces are clamped. Further, a core material Q is packed into a mold cavity 5 by injection with the addition of an estimated resin shrinkage amount due to cold setting, with the mold opening left as it is. After the completion of the packing of the resin by injection, a mold clamping and dwelling step is initiated to control the mold clamping pressure so that the resin pressure falls within a set range. In addition, the resin pressure is retained, for example, at 2-50kgf/cm<2> as a dwelling load complying with the shrinkage behavior due to cold setting. When performing thin-wall molding, the resin pressure is set as high as about 70-150kgf/cm<2> required for temporary shaping within the time limits of 5sec. or less. After that, the resin pressure is maintained at approx. 2-50kgf/cm<2> which is a required level for dwelling. |
