FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new strain of bacterium Rhodococcus erythropolis VKPMS-1379 which is able to synthesize actively glycolipids at amount up to 3.5 g/l. Strain grows actively on carbohydrate and hydrocarbon substrates and produces biomass at 75% crude protein content. Strain is stable at continuous culturing by morphological, cultural and physiological properties. EFFECT: increased protein content in biomass, high production of glycolipids. 2 tbl
