PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a suitable baked product for a building material by which the effective utilization of an incinerated ash containing a metal such as iron or zinc or alloys is carried out by mixing specific three components, forming the resultant raw material for ceramics, baking the formed compact and providing the baked material for the building material. SOLUTION: (A) A waste powder which is an incinerated ash, prepared by incinerating a wood waste or a pulverized material of a waste tile, a porcelain waste, etc., containing a metal such as iron, copper, zinc or lead or alloys of the metal in an amount of 5-40% expressed in terms of weight ratio and treated by moisture regulation to 3-6% moisture content in an amount of 10-60wt.% expressed in terms of weight ratio is kneaded with (B) a cullet which is a waste glass in an amount of 10-60% expressed in terms of weight ratio and (C) a clay for ceramics in an amount of 20-60% expressed in terms of weight ratio as a raw material for the ceramics and the moisture of the resultant raw material for the ceramics is regulated to a prescribed moisture content. The obtained raw material for ceramics is formed by extrusion or press forming and baked at 1,050-1,150 deg.C to thereby afford a baked material for a building material in the form of dotted colors due to the oxidation of metals without completely melting by converting the cullet into a low melting point. |
