In order to provide a card which has a decorative appearance and may be used for almost any length of time with a constant high quality, at least the flat surfaces of the plastic card body are coated with a thin layer of an iron-chromium alloy. The coating layer is coated on all sides with another coating layer made of a precious metal or precious metal alloy. The precious metal or precious metal alloy is mixed with magnesium fluoride to improve the adherence. |
