Drug compositions containing pyrido[2,3-c]furazan-1-oxide derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which show a potent inhibitory effect on nitrogen monoxide synthetases and are useful as nitrogen monoxide synthetase formation inhibitors.
