The elliptic piston rotary engine comprises cylinder bodies, elliptic pistons, sliding separators, cylinder heads and elliptic synchronism rings. It forms four variable working chambers within said cylinder bodies. Two sets of above-mentioned components process four strokes, they are intake, compression, expansion and exhaust, and output by main shaft. Each round of main shaft could process four cycles with four strokes, as a conventional reciprocating piston engine with eight cylinders. The engine has symmetry structure without crank-shaft and valve-driven mechanism. |
