A trailer (1) for a vehicle including a base suport (10, 21) and a hopper (2), the hopper being pivotable in a vertical plane relative to the base support such that, upon pivoting of the hopper (2), the centre of gravity of the combination of the hopper (2) together with any load in the hopper (2) is thereby movable relative to the centre of gravity of the base support along the longitudinal axis of the base support.
