A roof rear ventilating device has a foil section that grips the roof ridge tile (4) from below, that rests on both sides with a support of its ridge-parallel longitudinal edges (6) on tiles of the roof covering (5) and which is provided on both sides of the ridge covering (4) with rear ventilating air inlets and outlets. The longitudinal edges (6) are weighted at their bottom side and open the rear ventilating openings (27) when they are supported on the roof tiles. |
