The heating and aerating device includes a fresh air channel (58), and an outlet passage (69). The side of the outlet aperture (62) is arranged so that the passage goes through two opposite side walls (64,66) of the fresh air channel and extends in the direction of the moving warm air. The fresh air channel may go through a lower wall (64) which lies opposite the upper wall and is bordered by two side walls (68). These walls may have an inner cross-section that is square and the outlet passage may go through the lower wall and then back through the upper wall. The outlet aperture may have a directionally concave cross-section which extends between both oppositely lying walls.
