The holder (1) has parallel indentations (8) which have in the lowermost area openings (3) through which when the holder (1) is placed on an identical holder filled with objects, the objects of the lower holder enter in part into the free space underneath the objects arranged in the upper holder. In this position, the upper holder rests on the objects of the lower holder. The indentations are formed by parallel channels (8) arranged side by side and having at their lowest point slits (3) running parallel to the longitudinal direction. The channels are preferably V-shaped in cross-section.
