The cuvette has a housing (12) with an internal sample space (22) between 2 cooperating housing halves (14, 16), made of a polished optically transparent, inert, material. A seal is provided between the facing surfaces of the housing halves, with at least one channel (24) for access to the sample space sealed by a cover (26), through which an injection needle (28) can be inserted. The cover is formed as a skin of a biologically inert silicon rubber, which forms a seal around the inserted injection needle and re-seals itself after the removal of the needle. |
