Intermediate sections (3), between the central torsionally flexible section (4) and the circular cross-section end sections (2), have a continually altering cross-section. The trough walls (8,9) in the transition areas from the torsion section to the intermediate sections have crossways directed, inter-engaging embossments (7) in the deepest part of the trough. Axially formed cross-ribs (12) are provided at the transitions from the end sections to the intermediate section. They frontally face the torsion section and extend radially to the longitudinal axis (LA) out of the base (11) of the trough to the intermediate sections.
