The electric motor comprises a stator packet consisting of a number of annular sheets (100) superimposed one on another. Each annular sheet includes a complete inner edge and an outer edge which is cut by a number of channels (1), each being wider beneath the edge surface than the slot which is presented at the periphery. The channels provide the seating for the stator windings. The small opening in the surface of the stator element enables the insertion and positioning of the stator windings. The sheets are made of ferromagnetic material.
