The yokes (21) coupling the rails (11,15) together are of flat material. They are welded to the rail ends, which protrude from them so as to leave a margin for welding (L). Holes (22,23) in the yokes for bolts or other components (26) coupling them together incorporate distance-pieces (24) to bridge the gaps formed by the welding margins (L). These pieces can be formed by washers welded to the yokes. The latter can each accommodate a first rail for a driving body, the latter being coupled by a chain to a further body travelling on a second rail (15).
