PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-cooling package type compressor which can improve cooling efficiency of a motor for driving a compressor body, suppressing a temperature rise in a motor coil, bearing or grease and the service life thereof. SOLUTION: This compressor contains a compressor body 5, a totally-closed external-fan type motor 9 for driving the compressor body 5, and an oil separating & recovering device 10 in the first chamber 3 of a package 1, and contains a multi-blade fan 16 mounted onto a main shaft 15 of the motor 9, an oil cooler 11 and an after-cooler 12 in the second chamber 4. This compressor is constituted so that air sucked from the first air inflow opening 18 may be sucked by the multi-blade fan 16 from an opening part 17 and may be delivered from an air outflow opening 20 with air sucked by the multi-blade fan 16 through the second air inflow opening 19. The opening part 17 is formed at the circumference of the main shaft 15, which penetrates through a partition plate 2, and a duct 22 is formed between a cooling fan 21 for the motor 9 and the first air inflow opening 18.
