PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the gaps between the faces of teeth of the internal and external gears of a geared joint, so as to reduce the noise from the joint section of a flexible shaft in the coasting state of an electric vehicle by producing a very small torque in a main motor even in the coasting state and bringing the internal and external gears of the geared joint into contact with each other. SOLUTION: The driver controls the speed of a vehicle by operating the notch of a main-line controller 1. Namely, when the controller 1 is thrown in a power running notch, a power running notch command 2 is inputted to a main motor controlling operating section 3. The section 3 decides a current pattern from a power running command pattern and speed. The decided current pattern is computed so that a torque lower than the running resistance of the vehicle can be generated, and a current is made to flow to a main motor 5 in accordance with the pattern by generating a gate pulse from a gate pulse generating section 4 and turning on/off an element. Therefore, the noise from the joint of a flexible shaft can be suppressed by bringing the faces of the teeth of the gears of the joint into contact with each other. |
