<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the dielectric breakdown, even if a high voltage is impressed for efficiently transferring energy to a load by changing the width of flat plate electrodes using a width-changing means for changing impedance. SOLUTION: Sliding flat-plate electrodes 12, 14 holding a dielectric 10 are laminated in parallel with each other. Next, the sliding flat plate electrodes 12, 14 are made slidable, making a rotary axis P provided near one end side as the reference. Through these procedures, the characteristic impedance can be changed by changing the flat-plate electrode width, even if the load impedance is changed thereby enabling the reflection on the boundary between a pulse electrode and a load not to occur. In such a constitution, an insulating material such as ceramics, etc., is used for the dielectric material, while parallel flat double line capable of changing the width of the flat plate are adopted, so that the dielectric breakdown may be avoided even if a high voltage is impressed, thereby enabling efficiently transfer of energy to a load.</p> |
