PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the multivalued recording of data and to attain the recording and reading of large capacity. SOLUTION: As to an expression format, e.g. dithering, for expressing the recording data of a certain recording substance by multigradation, a method for determining, recording and reading out a change in the physical quantity of the material such as the spatial distribution state and density change of the material is determined. Then a plurality of recording materials and their recording and reading methods are provided and data are recorded so as to be expressed as respectively independent bases in linear space. Practically a plurality of primary colors such as cyanine and magneta are allowed to correspond to recording and multivalued data are multiple-printed and recorded by using a color copying machine or the like. Positioning information 1, gradation, a quantization level, and information 2 related to correction are also recorded together with recording data 3. In addition, recording technique method such as magnetic, magneto-optical and photosensitive technique are combined. |
