PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the infrared laser beam absorbing efficiency and reduce the degree of coloring of a texture by providing a thermally sensitive layer containing an infrared absorptive coloring matter consisting of organic silver salt, its developing agent and a specific merocyanine compound, and a water-soluble binder, on a support. SOLUTION: A thermally sensitive layer containing an infrared absorptive coloring matter consisting of organic silver salt, its developing agent and a specific merocyanine expressed by a formula, and a water-soluble binder, is formed on a support. In the formula, R is a 1-6C alkyl group or a 5-10C aryl group or a hataryl group; R<1> -R<4> are H, halogen, groups of alkyoxy, aryl or acyloxy, aryloxy or alkoxy carbonyl, alkyl or arylsulfonyl, carbamoyl, acyl, acylamide, alkyl or arylamino, alkyl, aryl, hetaryl groups; A is -COR, etc.; B is -NHR, etc.; Y is vinylene; Z is a 5-7 membered ring; and n is an integer of 3-5. |
