<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more compact human interface system which detects and recognizes a hand gesture and a body action by an image sensor, has a wide application range, and operates fast. SOLUTION: A human's gesture is inputted as image information by an image sensor 12 consisting of an artificial retina chip and a CCD and a human voice is inputted as speech information by a speech input device 13 consisting of microphone, etc.; and the gesture and voice are recognized by a microcomputer 14 through incorporated gesture and voice recognizing algorithm 16 and then a control signal is supplied to a controlled device 17 consisting of multimedia equipment, a home appliance, a game machine, care device, etc., as a trailing state.</p> |
