PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly control the slippage of an induction motor so that the efficiency of the motor can always become the maximum against the fluctuations of the load and frequency of the motor, by finding an optimal control voltage by comparing the slippage of the motor with the optimum slip and operating the motor with the optimum slippage and by making the optimal control voltage act on an output voltage command or magnetic flux command. SOLUTION: The slippage of an induction motor is directly detected and an optimal control voltage is found by comparing the detected slip value Sdet with the optimum slip value Sf , which varies depending upon the constant and the operating frequency (f) of the motor, and at which the motor becomes the maximum efficiency and is made to act on a magnetic flux command ϕout . Therefore, the slippage of the motor can always be controlled quickly so that the efficiency of the motor can become the maximum, even when the loaded state or the frequency of the motor changes. |
