PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the number of copying times from exceeding a set upper limit number concerning a section by setting the limit number within the range of the number of times of image forming operation which can be assigned to the section by a host computer and permitting the number of times of the image forming operation in the self device by the light number. SOLUTION: The using section ID is transmitted to the host computer through a modem device. The computer transmits the specified number within the range of the number of assignment feasible times as control value data to a copying machine through a public telephone line. When the number of copying times in the copying machine attains a specified value, a limit value data requiring command is transmitted to the computer so as to obtain the assignment by the new limit number of times. When the remaining number of times to be assigned exists, the specified number within the range is transmitted to the copying machine as limit value data again. The copying machine receives the number equal to or under the number of assignment feasible times as the limit value data concerning the using section ID from the computer, and permits copying operation within the range, so that the number of copying times of the section is prevented from exceeding the upper limit number. |
