摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high anticurling properties under environmental conditions of high temperature and high humidity by sequentially laminating a coloring matter receptive layer, a resin layer with a microvoid, a support and a back face resin layer consisting of a laminate comprising two or more layers of different types of resin for anticurling, in this order from the surface. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer image receiving sheet 10 is obtained by providing a coloring matter receptive layer 2 which receives a coloring matter such as dye for forming an image by thermal transfer, on one of the faces of a base sheet 1. The based sheet 1 is further, structured of a laminate of at least, three layers (strictly speaking, 5 layers or more) such as a resin layer 3 with a microvoid, a support 4, a back resin layer 5 for anticularting (constituted of two or more layers 5a, 5b) from the side on which the coloring matter receptive layer 2 is formed. The preferred resin used for the back resin layer 5 provided on the back face of a support 4 is basically, a material used for the front face side, which has moisture shutoff properties and is almost free from shrinkage by heat or moisture from the viewpoint of especially, shrinking behavior.
