PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the formation of a multicolor image which is closely similar to printed matter by exposing a laser direct image forming material having a photosensitive layer containing a meat infrared absorber on a support with a specific heat conductivity to a near infrared laser beam in the image-like mode. SOLUTION: A laser direct image forming material having a photosensitive layer containing a neat infrared absorber on a support with a heat conductivity of 0.2W/mK or less is exposed to a near infrared laser beam by scanning, with the help of a laser scan exposure device with oscillates the near infrared beam. In addition, after removing the exposed part by abrasion, a coloring material image is formed on the support. The laser direct image forming material on which an image is formed is thermally laminated under pressure with an intermediate image receiving sheet so that the face- to-face lamination is realized. Further, the material is peeled off the intermediate image receiving sheet and thereby, the coloring material image is transferred to the intermediate image receiving sheet. After that, the intermediate image receiving sheet is laminated to a final image receiving sheet so that the face-to-face lamination is realized, and thus the coloring material image is transferred to the surface of the final image receiving sheet. |
