PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted navigation system for enabling a user to determine the position of a facility and the distance to it easily. SOLUTION: The vehicle-mounted navigation device 10 has a CD-ROM 15 that stores data regarding a map, a microprocessor 24 for calculating the current position of a vehicle, and a display 17 for showing the current position of the vehicle. The microprocessor 24 searches for a road where a current position exists and a facility that is located along a specific road being connected to the road and calculates the distance to each searched facility from the above current position. Further, a table including type and/or name regarding each facility, distance from the current position, and position viewed toward the advance direction of a vehicle is created and is shown on the screen of the display 17. |
