PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder employing a deformation member for flying ink in which a good image can be obtained by suppressing the ink droplet flying from the parts other than the ink droplet flying part. SOLUTION: Ink is fed from a member 2 impregnated with ink at an ink supply section to a flexible member 4 deformable from a shape for receiving ink supply to an ink holding part to a shape for flying the ink. The member 2 impregnated with ink is set in the center of an ink reservoir 1 and the flexible member 4 is disposed such that the ink droplet flying part is located immediately above the member 2 impregnated with ink and elements 3 for individually driving the flexible member 4 are fixed to the opposite ends thereof. The guide rails for respective driving element 3 are supported individually at the left and right ends thereof on supporting bases 5. The driving element 3 is connected with an external power supply and moved in the horizontal direction when a voltage is applied. |
