PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain the subject polymer composed of three kinds of recurring unit, affording good adhesivity to various materials, esp. useful as e.g. a dental material, by conduction a radical polymerization at room temperature. SOLUTION: This polymer is composed of three kinds of recurring unit of respective formulas I to III [X is CH2 or O; A-B is a C-C or C=C bond; Y is CH2 O, CO-O,. etc.; P is a polymerizable group, i.e., CH2 =CH-CO, CH2 =C (CH3 )-CO, etc.; Z is H, COOH, etc.; U is COOH, etc.; V is H, COOH, CH2 -O etc.; T is O, NH, etc. ] in respective molar fractions (a), (b) and (c) of (0.05-1.0), (0-0.95) and (0-0.90). This polymer is obtained by ring opening metathesis polymerization of a mixture of compounds of respective formulas IV to VI in the presence of a catalyst. This polymer is usable as an ingredient of cement, coating materials, among others.
