摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid measuring method by which vector information of a flow field can be obtained on the basis of a PIV (particle imaging velocimetry) method from difference information of adjacent images photographed from the flow field visualized by a particle tracking method. SOLUTION: When a flow field visualized by means of a particle tracking method is photographed by using a motion image and fluid is measured by using a PIV method by which vector information of the flow field is obtained from difference information of the temporally adjacent images, an image density template pattern matching is used. An evaluation value serving as an index of the image density template pattern matching is computed for each image proposed within a searching area, and when the proposed image is arranged flat over the searching area, a three-dimensional graph using the searching area as a bottom face and the evaluation value for each proposed area as a vertical axis can be formed. As the three-dimensional distribution graph contains information which is useful for selecting an optimum value, an image density template pattern matching correct interpretation ratio, which is most important for precision of a result of the PIV method, can be improved if an optimum value or an optimum point of the image density template pattern matching is obtained from the shape of the three-dimensional distribution graph.
