PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the pen which can create a state wherein the pen tip is put away from an object of depression in a short time without putting the pen tip away from the object of depression. SOLUTION: A pen case 52 is formed of a conductor and in a space 54 which is partitioned with its cylindrical wall, the pen tip part 55 is so arranged that a head part 55A is in slide contact with the wall. At part of the wall, a ring- shaped insulator 59 is arranged and the tip of the pen case is also formed of an insulator 61. The pen tip part 55 is fitted with a compression spring 58 across an insulator 56 to apply a force which pushes the tip part 55B of the pen tip outward. When the pen tip part 55 is pressed against a pad relatively strongly, the head part 55A comes into electric contact again after being disconnected electrically from the pen case 52. Therefore, this pen 51 is used for, for example, an electrostatic capacity type pad and then the same state as a state wherein the pen tip is put away from the object of depression for a short time can be obtained without actually putting the pen tip away. |
