<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the connection angle of a branch pipe variable as well as to prevent water leakage from between a pipe joint and a branch pipe receiving member by covering the bowl-like cover member of the pipe joint with the socket of the branch pipe set as an center, forming the outer peripheral surface of the socket with its sliding possibility and forming a pipe-like part connected to a main pipe integrally formed on the top. SOLUTION: A pipe joint main body consists of a pipe-like part 1 connected to a main pipe and a spherical branch pipe socket 2 integrally formed with its tip end and a spherical branch pipe receiving member 3 is arranged inside the spherical branch pipe socket part 2. This branch pipe receiving member 3 freely slides along the inner peripheral surface of the branch pipe socket 2. A cover material 4 holds a branch pipe 6 at its pipe-like part 5 and also covers and protects the gap between the branch pipe receiving member 3 and the pipe joint main body. Therefore, any water leakage caused by invasion of foreign matter like dust, earth and sand, etc., can be eliminated and the variable angle range of the connection angle of the branch pipe 6 can be expanded up to±45deg.</p> |
