PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the abnormal operation of a device and the deterioration or breakage of electronic components by protecting the inner circuits of the device from static electricity caused by insertion/removal of a plug. SOLUTION: In the jack structure for a head set having a cylindrical contact 5 to which an outer circumference side contact 2a of a plug 2 of a head set is connected and a plate spring contact 6 to which a center side contact 2a is connected, a switch structure for switching the connection to a housing earth and the connection to an inner circuit is arranged on a signal line for connecting the cylindrical contact 5 and the inner circuit of a device, the switch structure has such a function that it usually connects the cylindrical contact 5 to the housing earth, but when plug insertion is finished, release the connection to the housing earth, and connects the cylindrical contact 5 to the inner circuit. |
