PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a canned crab to which a crab flavor difficult in its impartment is imparted. SOLUTION: This canned crab is produced by charging crab meats together with crab shells into a can. The crab meats and the shells comprise crab meats with shells. The crab meats and the shells comprise crab meats with leg shells. The crab meats and the shells are charged into a can in such a vertically arranged state that the longitudinal direction of the legs is parallel to the height direction of the can. The crab meats and the crab shells are preferably charged in the can by taking out the crab meats from the crab shells, removing curds adhered to the surfaces of the crab meats, returning the crab meats into the original shells and subsequently charging the meat-filled shells into the can. |
