PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE device which automatically detects deviation in singer's singing from the progress of music in time and being the in well timed. SOLUTION: A control part 2 detects a soundless point of a sound signal from a microphone 7 and a soundless point of a reference guide melody signal taken out of a MIDI(musical instrument digital interface) data record holding part 3 by using a comparison part 10. When the deviation is longer than a specific time, rhythm deafness is decided. When the signing is faster, the KARAOKE music is advanced by the time difference to time the progress of the music to the singing. When the singing is slower, the KARAOKE music is temporarily stopped and restarted according to a user's instruction, or the reproduction of the KARAOKE music is restarted once the singing reaches the KARAOKE music. |
